Galivants Ferry, 29544, an unincorporated community in Horry County, SC, is situated on the Little Pee Dee River just west of the small town of Aynor on Highway 501.
The small, quaint town of Aynor was once the end of a railroad line from Conway which made it a hub of activity for the surrounding communities. With so much growth Aynor was incorporated in 1913 and today has a population of just under 700 people. Galivants Ferry and Aynor, located just 30 miles northwest of Myrtle Beach, provides its residents with a close proximity to all of the activities that the Grand Strand has to offer within just a short drive. The cost of living being just at 13% which is lower than the U.S. average, you can get great value for your investment in property and in lifestyle in this charming little town.
